How we collect, use and look after your personal information.

This notice explains how OJP Plumbing Limited (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal information when you use this website or contact us about plumbing work. We are the data controller for this information.
Information we collect
When you send an enquiry through our contact form, we collect the details you choose to give us: your name, phone number, email address, postcode, the type of work you need and any information you include about the job. If you call, text or message us, we’ll also have your phone number and anything you send us, such as photos of the job.
Our website host automatically records basic technical information, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working. We don’t use this to identify you.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, arrange visits, provide quotes, carry out the work you ask for, and deal with invoicing and any follow-up. We will not sell your information, and we won’t send you marketing unless you’ve asked us to.
Our lawful basis
We process your information because you’ve asked us to respond to your enquiry or to carry out work for you (steps taken before, and performance of, a contract), and where we need to meet legal obligations such as keeping tax and accounting records. Where you tick the consent box on our form, you also agree to us contacting you about your enquiry.
Who we share it with
We only share your information where it’s needed to run our business: for example, with our website host (Cloudflare), the service that delivers contact form messages to our inbox (FormSubmit), our email provider, and our accountant. These providers only process your information on our instructions. We may also share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
If your enquiry doesn’t lead to any work, we delete it within 12 months. If we carry out work for you, we keep job and invoice records for as long as required for tax and legal purposes, normally six years.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent at any time. To make a request, call or text us on 07544 188171.

Cookies
This website doesn’t use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when your browser requests them.
